Hinterland Restaurant, a beloved Bay View eatery known for its farm-to-table cuisine and cozy atmosphere, will close its doors after 10 years in business. Owners Dan and Caitlin Suprise announced the difficult decision on social media, citing rising costs and staffing shortages as the primary factors.

"It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that Hinterland will be closing its doors on February 26th," the Suprises wrote. "This was not an easy decision, but after much deliberation, we have come to the conclusion that it is the best course of action for our family and our team."
